The Seager Memorial Clinic is located at the Ogden Rescue Mission and has been serving the homeless, indigent, and working poor of Northern Utah since 1988. Free medical, dental, and mental health care is provided by volunteer doctors, providers, nurses, dentists, pharmacists, and support staff. Many of the patients seen at the Seager Memorial Clinic are experiencing homelessness, and live in shelters, or in low-cost housing. These individuals do not have any other access to healthcare. By managing their acute and chronic conditions, they avoid compounding their health issues.
The clinic operates solely on grants and private donations and does not receive any government or insurance funds. Over 80,000 individuals have been impacted by receiving care by the Seager Memorial Clinic in its' 34 years of operation.
The Seager Memorial Clinic has outgrown its space at the Ogden Rescue Mission. With the help of thoughtful individuals and generous donors, they were able to purchase a building previously used by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for genealogy. Now that the Seager Clinic has a new space, they need help from HomeAid and their network of donors and trade professionals to remodel the building for clinic use. The completed building will contain medical clinics for a number of specialties, labs, and a pharmacy, all free of charge.
