The Salt Lake Home Builder's Association has been an unwavering supporter of HomeAid Utah since its inception. This year, the Salt Lake Parade of Homes is excited to champion HomeAid in multiple ways. As the charity of choice for the Salt Lake Home Builder's Association, HomeAid Utah's mission is to help individuals experiencing homelessness build new lives through community engagement, education, and construction.

We're thrilled to announce that this year's parade will support HomeAid Utah's Diaper Drive and the creation of a tiny home at The Other Side Village.

The Other Side Village

HomeAid Utah is committed to building the first tiny home sub-village at The Other Side Village, a master-planned neighborhood that offers affordable, high-quality, permanent housing for individuals transitioning out of chronic homelessness. This sub-village will comprise 10-15 tiny homes, providing a safe and stable living environment for those in need.

As a show of our support for HomeAid Utah, we're showcasing the first tiny home at The Other Side Village in this year's Parade of Homes. This home is not just a beautiful and functional space, but also a symbol of hope and progress in our community's efforts to end homelessness. We hope that this tiny home and the entire sub-village project will inspire others to get involved and support this important cause.

HomeAid Utah Diaper Drive

The Salt Lake Parade of Homes is also proud to support HomeAid Utah's Diaper Drive. This drive supplies much-needed diapers to families experiencing homelessness or other crises. By contributing to the Parade of Homes' diaper collection, you can help make a difference in the lives of those in need and support HomeAid Utah's crucial work.

Diapers are an essential but often overlooked necessity that is not covered by government safety net programs. For families experiencing homelessness or housing instability, providing diapers can be a major financial burden. That's why HomeAid Utah partners with The Diaper Bank to ensure that diapers are distributed to our most vulnerable friends and neighbors! We have set an ambitious goal of collecting 750,000 diapers. But we can't do it alone!
